Services

Small business website services in Winkler, Manitoba

Four things, done properly: a website, a way for customers to book you, a Google presence that works, and care after launch. Each one is described below in the same words we would use on the phone.

Everything here is for small businesses in Winkler and the Pembina Valley. You do not need to buy all four. Plenty of owners start with a website and add booking later, once they can see it earning.

1. Websites

A website that loads quickly on a phone, says clearly what you do, and makes it easy to get in touch. Not a brochure nobody reads: a page built to turn a visitor into a customer.

What is included

  • Page copy written with you, in your words, then approved by you before it goes anywhere.
  • A layout designed for a phone first, and checked on a real phone, not just a preview window.
  • Your services, your service area, your hours and your contact details, all easy to find.
  • A contact page with a phone link and an email link that work when tapped.
  • Page titles, descriptions and headings written properly, so each page has one clear subject.
  • Photographs of your work and your team, sized and compressed so they do not slow the page down.
  • A check of the finished pages for broken links, spelling and load speed, before launch.

What is not included

  • Writing that pretends to be something you are not. We will not invent reviews, awards or years in business.
  • A guarantee of a particular position on Google. Nobody can honestly promise that.

2. Online booking and enquiries

Let customers choose a time and book it themselves. It suits anyone whose day is a list of appointments: salons, spas, barbers, clinics, and any trade that books site visits.

What is included

  • A booking page that matches your real opening hours and your real service lengths.
  • Your services listed with the time each one takes, so bookings fit your day.
  • A simple enquiry form for people who would rather write than book straight away.
  • Booking links that work from your website, your Google listing and your social pages.
  • A plain-language guide for you and your staff on how to change times, block off a day, or close for a holiday.

What is not included

  • Automatic text messages or emails to your customers, unless you ask for them and approve the wording yourself.
  • Taking payments or deposits, unless we agree that as part of the project first.

3. Google presence

Most local searches start on Google, and most of those end without anyone visiting a website at all. Your Google listing has to be right, and your website has to back it up.

What is included

  • Your Google Business Profile claimed, verified and filled in properly: name, category, hours, services and service area.
  • Photos loaded and captioned so your listing does not look abandoned.
  • Structured data added to your website, so search engines can read your business name, services and service area directly.
  • Your name, address and phone written the same way everywhere, which is what local search rewards.
  • Your service area written out in plain text on your own site, so people in Morden, Altona or Carman can see you cover them.
  • What affects your ranking, and what does not.

What is not included

  • Bought reviews, or reviews written on your behalf. Those break Google's rules and they are not worth the risk.
  • Any tracker or advertising pixel on your site. We do not put third-party scripts on a client's website.

4. Ongoing care

A website is not a one-time purchase. It needs looking after, the same way a truck does. This is the part most owners are quietly worried about, so here it is in full.

What is included

  • Backups of your site and your content, kept where they can be restored from.
  • Security and software updates, so the site does not become a way in for someone else.
  • Small changes on request: a new price, a new photo, a changed hour, a new staff member.
  • Monitoring so that if the site goes down, we find out before your customers do.
  • A plain report of what was done, so you are not paying for silence.

What is not included

  • Hostage hosting. You are never stuck with us because leaving would break your website.
  • Charges for work you did not ask for. Anything beyond the agreed care is quoted before it starts.

Which small business website service do you need?

If you are not sure, that is completely normal, and it is what the first conversation is for. Tell us how customers find you today and what goes wrong most often. Usually the answer is obvious once it is said out loud, and it is often smaller and cheaper than the owner expected.

Read how a project actually runs, step by step, or get in touch and ask us directly.

Tell us about your business

One conversation is enough to know whether we are a fit. Bring your questions, your budget and your doubts. If we are not right for you, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
